Tecno’s Spark series has long offered reliable and affordable smartphones, and the new Spark 10C aims to continue that tradition. Here’s our review after using the phone for a week.

Specifications

The Spark 10C is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It sports a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Fueling the device is a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging.

Optics include a single 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter. Connectivity features are dual SIM, LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and FM radio. It runs Android 12 out of the box under HIOS 8.6 skin.

Performance

For basic tasks like calls, messaging, and social media usage, the T606 chip handles things smoothly. However, intensive games are a struggle. Multitasking is also iffy at times due to the tight RAM.

The 90Hz display is okay for the price but the brightness could be better. Audio quality from the single speaker is average at best.

Battery Life

Similar to other Spark phones, battery life is excellent – it easily lasts 1.5 days on a single charge with moderate usage. Even intensive usage won’t see it dying before the day ends.

Cameras

Don’t expect too much from the 16MP rear camera. Shots taken indoors or in dim lighting come out quite noisy. The 8MP selfie cam is decent for occasional selfies though.

Verdict

Performance can be limiting for heavy users. Where it truly delivers is monster battery life. If you prioritize long battery life over intensive usage, this phone is worth considering. Just manage your expectations based on its affordable price tag.

Good Product

I found the phone to be a very good product. I have been using it for almost a year now and doesn't give me any problem. But the Bluetooth is not compatible with my LG home theater. That's all.
